I promise I have not forgotten my password..

Although it may seem I have forgotten it.. I do indeed still know it! I have been super duper busy lately. Rush starts in a week and 2 days! I can not believe it.. I don't know if I'm ready for it to be over but I can not wait for it to start! I'm one of the few girls who actually does really really love rush!! I have two tests this week and the PCAT again on Saturday. I now wish I wouldn't have registered for it and just taken my first score. I'm way too busy to study for it and my score was ok the first time. O well, just maybe I'll pull something great out! For now, it's back to studying... I'll do a big catch-up-on-my-life post very very soon- promise!

Hello Summertime..

To many of you the summer is coming to an end. For me, its just begining. When I decided to do summer school I had no idea what was in store. Don't get me wrong, I love love loved being in Oxford for the summer but it definitely wasnt "summer." I feel like I could never catch my breath with class daily, 3hour labs 3 days a week, and a test every Friday. So everyone.. my summer officially began this past Friday.. for 2 whole weeks! ha You better beleive I'm going to soak up every minute I have left.

Summer Dresser and Summer Bed

In my last post I mentioned that I have recently redone a dresser for my room this summer. I kind of waited last minute (the Thursday before I was moving on Saturday.) I found this dresser at a thrift store I just happened to stumble upon while exploring Tupelo trying to find something like this. I really only need this for about 2 months because in August I will be moving back into the fully furnished Delta Gamma house (whoo-whoo). Anyhow back to the dresser.. I found it for a whopping total of $30!! How could I turn it down with a price like that?! It was a bit of an eye sore at the moment but a fresh coat of paint can do a world of good!
...before the makeover

Like I said before this was a very last minute purchase so I didn't have much time to make redo this desk. By the time I got home with it, it was getting kind of late and I was exhausted from packing and shopping and all so I decided to take the fast and easy way out. I spray painted it instead of brush painting it. This seemed like a good idea at first but it was not. The top especially was very uneven and it turned into a bigger job than expected. So I got the bright idea to cover the top in magazine articles using ModgePodge. Where do these ideas come from? I'm not sure but I liked the outcome.. for a $30 summer dresser at least.

placing the magazine clippings

In use in my summer room

close up of a few of the articles- if you know me any at all you know I LOVE the shoe!!

I covered the top in fun articles (including but not limited to: "Risks Every Gutsy Girl Must Take", "Wear Jewelery with Confidence" and "Be the Smartest Sexiest Girl in Town"), and then added 5 full page funky high heel pictures. These gave it the color and fun that it needed.
Also I spray painted the handles a metallic champagne gold which went perfectly with the white base color and the colors of the articles. Sometimes the drawers are hard to shut and the paint is already beginging to chip. This desk may not be with me forever but it sure is fun to have for now.

Just for fun, here's a picture of my bed. I sewed each of the throw pillows all on my own. My Nanny was definitely a good teacher! I also sewed my curtain myself. They're made of the pretty french blue giraffe print! I just love all of the white... and the colors go just so! I've officially decided that is my favorite shade of pink!

Since I'm on a roll and showing you all around my room I decided to include this painting I did just a few days before moving back. I'm not so happy with the way the flowers turned out but I love Love LOVE the quote! When I get a chance to go home for more than an afternoon I'm going to redo the top part. But for now here it is..

I apologize for the poor color and lighting in these pictures but I still haven't found my camera charger.

In the past year...

Well Carrie I took your advice and copied your post! If you don't read this fabulous little lady's blog your really should start! She shares her life here. Seriously, go right now and read away!! Anyhow back to the past year..

In the past year, I have joinged the blog world!!! And I love it.. I'm a blog creeper if that's possible!

In the past year, I have lived my life in 4 different rooms! Yes 4... a dorm room, a sorority house room, my home room, and my summer house room. This includes a total of 6 roomates! Madison, Emily, Katie, Saralauren(x2) Madeline and in one week, Chelsie.

In the past year, I have been involved in a serious relationship, been "its complicated" as Facebook would say, and am currently a single lady.

In the past year, I have become independent, really.

In the past year, I have joined to iPhone generation and will never turn back!

In the past year, I have made new friendships and strengthened the old.

In the past year, I have struggled with my major.. with the difficulty of it and just the "do I really want to do this" of it.

In the past year, I was asked to be a MOH to my best friends since 1st grade.

In the past year, I have really felt old for once in my life. Nothing does it like your bff getting married and kids you vividly remember being born growing up.

In the past year, I have become obsessed with my teasing brush, hot rollers, and hairspray.. I barely go a week without using them all and I don't go a day without at least using one!

In the past year, (don't read this mom) I have probably lived at home for the last time, full time.
Sure I'll be there for Christmas break and possibly even part of a summer but never more there than anywhere else.

In the past year, I acquired a love for magazines. I like them all really, any kind will do!

In the past year, I've slowed down. I can't believe how fast my first 2 years of college have flown by! 7 years for pharmacy school doesn't sound so long anymore.. I only have 5 (kind of 4) left. A family will soon follow but no rush on that either anymore.

In the past year, I have become artistic.. or so I'm told. I still wouldn't classify myself as artsy but I do love my desk that I have made, and my canvases here and there, and my chest I have yet to write about. I really love to paint and pretend to be an artist.

In the past year, I have had the time of my life and I have been blessed beyond belief!

Last summer about this time... Miss yall!! :)
I'm sure there are so many more things.. many much more important than these that I am leaving out.. maybe I'll just have to do this again soon. You're right Carrie, it is refreshing! :)

Summer House

As promised here are a few pictures of our little summer home..

I told yall we lived in a cabin in the woods and I wasn't kidding! I'm not so much a nature girl but I do love living here. Although it look like we live in the middle of no where we are actually just a short walk from the square! :)

I think I might have mentioned in an earlier post that we had quite a few mosquito friends that loved to visit us on our front porch. Well as part of our anti-bug system we put up this little things along our porch. Fire hazard? Probably! Life saver? Definitely! Without them it would be too terribly hard to enjoy our front porch and my next picture...

Our SWING!! What a great idea Saralauren had to bring this fabulous little thing to our summer home!! We all absolutely love it.. everyone who comes to our house loves it! We swing in this thing all the time and it is wonderful!!

What a great summer this place has in store.. Hurry up Chelsie so our house will be complete!! :)

Week Pre-PCAT

Summer in Oxford is just wonderful! I'm not too fond of my class but I love my free time. My roommates and I have done lots of lounging at various pools and have spent many hour on our front porch swing. My next week though will be very very studious. You can still be studious and go to the pool right?! I'll just be trading my usual People magazine for my PCAT study book. Yes that's right folks, I'll be taking the PCAT this Saturday. I also have an organic test Tuesday so I'll be hitting the books all week long. Blah..

This weekend was oh so much fun! A few of my friends and I attended a party at this fun little (big) lake called Pickwick! We jumped and slid and swam and just partied all weekend. I wish I had a few pictures to prove it but my camera charger has left me which also left me with a dead camera. Finding my charger will be one of my goals on Friday when I make a quick trip home for the day.
Back to the books for me..

Rain on my very own tin room..

Monday I finally got all moved in to my house for the summer. With every minute it's starting to feel a little more like home. I love it here. It's my first time to really really be on my own. Sure I haven't lived at home in two years but it has always been community living. I've lived in the dorm where there are strict rules, two person rooms, and community bathrooms. Next I lived in the sorority house where these is staff, two three and four person rooms, and yet again community bathrooms. I LOVE community living which I partially blame on me not having any sibilings around growing up really. This is so different though. Yesterday was a fabulous day.. my first real day in my new house. I went to class at an early 8AM then came back for a short nap then packed up with my roomies for an afternoon at the pool and finished the night with a glass of wine on our front porch swing. BLISS!! What more can a girl ask for?
Last night while swinging on the porch Madeline and I came to the conclusion that our house was a cabin. We really feel like it is. We have a fabulous tin roof and are surrounded on 3 well really 2.5 sides by woods. The mosquitos will get you here too.. I'm pretty sure we will have bought WalMart out of citronella by the end of the summer. And it has a porch that is perfect for sitting at night after the sun has gone down. It's a perfect little summer home and we all love it!
Now I'm relaxing in my bed rewatching season 1 of Gossip Girl and listening to the rain hit our tin roof and the thunder roll. I'm one happy little girl right now!

Milkshakes for Dinner

Yes.. this is what my mother and I had for dinner one day last week. We have always been a bit out of the norm and I love this about my family! Most of my time at home is spent "just mom and I" so it has been easy to do such fun things. The other night we were leaving Tupleo after a day of shopping. It was about 6pm and we were getting a little hungry and my mom suggested milkshakes for dinner. I quickly agreed and we pulled in to chick-fil-a for an oreo milkshake! Probably not the most healthy or diet conscious meal ever but it does not harm every now and then. Throughout my years at home I have had many meals like this. It was not odd to have chocolate cake for breakfast or ice cream for dinner. I hope that I remember how fun those times were when I'm a mom one day. Of course you can't give your kids things like this for meals all the time but what a treat every once in a while! I have the fondest memories as a child of not following the typical "childhood rules." We ate whatever we wanted, I didn't have a real bedtime or even a curfew when I was older. I definitely was a happy little girl! This may sound like madness but hey, I think I turned out ok! So one day when I have my kids on strict bedtime and make them eat all their food groups at every meal you all have to remind me of what I'm saying right now!

Insert Picture of "little girl Johnna" when I can get my pictures to cooperate! :)

Mother's Day :)

What a great day today is! I am so very thankful to have such an amazing mother!! I'm sure everyone thinks their mom is really amazing.. and I'm sure they're right. But my mom is special. You see, my mom is my bestfriend!! We've spent 6 years (3yrs-3rd grade) just the two of us... this is something many people who are fairly new to my life do not know. Its funny growing up in such a small town I've never had to really tell people my life story and it's not something you just come out and say... and quite frankly it hasn't come in convo with most of my college friends. But my dad passed away suddenly when I was 3 years old. He had a very unexpected heart attack. He had heart problems for a while and even had open heart surgery but he wasn't even 50.. no one expected him to be gone this soon. Anyway, reason number one why my mom is my hero, she has experienced that and lived to tell about it! I can not even imagine what it was like for her to have to go through that. I was too little to really understand but from the stories I've heard it really hit me hard.. I just didn't understand. She had to be strong.. for me! She has to be the strongest women I know! My mom remarried when I was in 3rd grade to the best step-dad I could ever ask for. Reason number two my mom is my hero.. she cared what i thought when she got remarried.. she asked for my opinion and my approval. She married him because he loved me! She put me first.. At this moment it's hard to hold back a tear or two. Just thinking about it makes me so humble and thankful... and BLESSED! I thank my God everyday for giving me such an amazing mom.. and family!!! My mama really is my best friend. I share everything with her. She is my number one go to girl and advice giver!! She knows me so well and always knows what is best. My friends and I were just talking last week about how crazy it is how our moms just know everything. Moms just have an uncanny sense to pick out the good, the bad, and the ugly. They just KNOW.. it's crazy! I guess they've just been a girl long enough to know how girls are! And you know what else.. she always knows how to make me feel better! When I'm sick or sad no one makes me feel the way mama does. She is one fabulous gal let me tell you!!

I can't have a mother's day post without mentioning my sweet Nanny. She is not my biological grandmother but she is the closest thing I've ever had to one. She has kept me almost every day of my life from the time I was 6weeks old until I could stay home by myself. She continued to cook me breakfast and take me to school until I could drive. She is pretty much my second mom and grandmother. I owe so much to her! I would not be the lady I am today if it were not for her! Anytime I would leave her, especially when I got out of the car each day at school, she would say "Be sweet!" Its such a simple and given thing but if you think about it, if everyone would just "be sweet" the world wouldn't have near as many problems. So that, my friends, is my motto: "Be sweet!"I absolutely love my Nanny!

All of this being said I am so incredibly blessed by the women in my life! I am surrounded by amazing, strong, loving women!! If I can just be half as great as they are I will be a wonderful woman. Happy Mothers Day!!

Love,
PS:Sorry these pics are sooo old and from High School but all of our family pics are on my mom's camera so these were my easiest access!

Thanks for a fabulous sophmore year..

Today I packed up all of my things from my cozy little 4 person sorority house room and moved back to Booneville. As I pulled out of my "never got a decal when I moved into the sorority house at Christmas" parking spot I took the extra long way off campus.

This year I feel like I have really bloomed here at Ole Miss. I've become comfy in my own skin. I have relationships this year with the friends I met last year. I have made close friends.. I've acquired bridesmaids! :) I've lived on a floor full of girls that have my heart and I have lived in a sorority house with sisters in a room smaller than my own at my house in Booneville shared with 3 other girls and I can not wait to do it again next year! I've learned to be independent and do things on my own but I have also learned that I can depend. I have learned that I will never truly be alone and I've experienced a support system that's unbreakable and always on my side. I know that nothing is completely certain and things change.

I've been hurt.. deeply.. but have learned to forgive. I have loved and I have been loved. I have not been perfect by any means. I have really really fallen in love with Oxford! I have brushed up on my ballet skills and become more graceful. I actually have a planner that I update now.

I have enjoyed myself thoroughly. I have stayed out too late and danced way too much. I have sometimes been too venerable. I have put myself out there. I have missed classes but I have not sacrificed my grades. I have spent many late nights and early mornings studying.

I have been blessed!!

Thank you so much Oxford for my ballin' sophomore year!

almost there..

I'm almost done with finals! I have physics tomorrow and then I will be all done.. I can not wait! Finals week is just not for me.. too much constant studying for such a wondering mind! One more night of endless studying and one more super early morning to cram right before it. BTW I have no packed a thing from my room. My mom is really going to love me tomorrow when she gets here and my room looks just the way it did a few weeks ago when she stopped by. It will take us all afternoon to get out of this place! O well... what else is there to do?
Anyhow all of this procrastination has given way to lots of thoughts here lately. Stay tuned for some good blog posts in the next few days while I'm at home.. Back to studying...

finals are making me fat...

Along with finals come procrastination and also snacking! I have been doing alot of both of these tonight. The DG house had kool-aid packets which pretty much made my day! I've always been a kool-aid kid but it has been forever since I have had it... Yum! I've pretty much snacked on everything in the kitchen!! My fabulous roommate Saralauren just brought Em and I a surprise which has also made my day!! Gooey goodness of a chocolate chip cookie that you cook in the microwave and pour fudge on top!! BLISS!! Just what I needed to get back on task... well right after my blog post of course!

Notice the notes behind it.. definitely what we should be spending our time on.

AND- Avery had her first dance recital last night! I can not wait to see the video but I know she stole the show! Between her mom, other aunt, and I she has to have some dancing genes!!!

All my love,

I-tried-to-do

So all day today I have attempted to pour my time into my books. This has been a complete failure! I hope this is because I don't feel the rush of fast approaching finals.. Tomorrow, yes tomorrow will be productive! Please be responsible Johnna and study really hard tomorrow!! The end of this semester is just so close in sight.. And what am I doing at the moment it being finals week and all? I'm looking up motivational quotes because thats going to make me ace my tests!!

"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going."
-Beverly Sills

-Nikki Giovonni
I like to think I'm a try-to-do type of girl! I hope so atleast...
Anyway, maybe these quotes gave you a little pep to keep going on through this busy week.. more to come later from procrastination at its finest!

Comments

Guess what, I just fixed it where my readers can leave comments now(all 5 of you)!! ha
I just checked my settings and what do you know, I had it set to where only members could leave a comment which makes it hard since I'm the only one who is a member of my blog!
Anyhow, please feel free to express yourself and entertain me though your comments now!

Love you much,

Finals??

So it is the Saturday before finals. I'm sitting in the coffee shop where Em and I came to study. I am getting nothing done. I want nap and a sunny day. I am just in no mood to study and it doesn't help that my hardest test is on Friday and it's physics so its just a bunch of math problems. My other finals don't count anymore than regular tests and neither are cumulative. My motivation is out the window... at the moment I'm seriously debating changing my major. I do this periodically but this time it's for real... maybe.

Yesterday was our crawfish date party. A few of my friends and I decided to go dateless which ended up being a great choice! It was a very chill party and we had more crawfish that anyone could ever eat! Afterwards we went to Phillips Grocery for Whitley's birthday! It was alot of fun and we had planned to go out after but the day was long and it was storming so we opted to stay in for a lazy night.

This weekend has been and is supposed to continue to be all dreary stormy and tornado-y. This makes for great study weather except for the fact that it makes me want to nap... Always!

Woodstock and Double Decker

It has been a long time since I've written 3 posts in one night. Tonight is the night though. I've been slacking lately so I'm playing a little catch up. I have 3 class says of school left in my sophomore year! Wowzers!
Last weekend was Double Decker and Woodstock. We almost got blown away and did get rained on a little bit. All in all it was a incredibly fun weekend though. One of those weekends where you just love being in Ox. Lots of time was spent at the square, live music on Saturday night and Double Decker on Sunday(moved bc of the weather). Baseball games Saturday and Sunday.. we swept LSU by the way! Some guys even brought brooms on Sunday which made my day. My mom came to visit because we had parents weekend here at the Deeg. Friday night we had Taylor Grocery catered to the DG house and a fabulous little DG dinner party which was so much fun! Saturday night some girls and I went to Lenoras on the square where we had an amazing dinner as well! I was pleased to host Lauren for the weekend as well. She's coming to school here next year and it's always fun to come up and get a feel for things early. My weekend recap is a little unorganized and ramble-y to say the least but this was a fabulous weekend!!
Now it's the last week of class before finals. Spring fever is completely in swing.. I never want to do anything school related and I love being outside! I have to keep reminding myself that school is still going on and "You can do this!" I tell myself this alot... I don't know why but it keeps me going!
Off to bed for now.. my writing is getting short!

Love,

Avery is Four!!

Sunday was my neice's 4th birthday! O how time flies! I can remeber sitting/sleeping in the waiting room my sophmore year of high school just waiting on that little girl to arrive! She was the first grandchild on both sides so it was unbelieveably exciting!! I absolutely hate that I don't get to see her more.. and college always interferes with her birthday celebrations! They're coming to Ox in June though and I can not wait!

For the occasion here is a picture when she was only a day or so old..
And here is a picture from her party on Sunday(Hijacked from my sis-in-laws FB)...

She has grown so much!! This is one of those times where I start to feel old...
Happy Birthday Avery, Love you!!

I'm usually a pink girl but...

I decided to try a pretty blue! Pink pretty much decribes me in a nutshell. It's not even an option if color comes up. I dont think that I have ever worn anything on my nails not in the pink/red family before(unless your count "mad as a hatter" as not). Colors are all the rage right now though so I headed to the drug store and fell in love with " For Audrey" by China Glaze. It's something different and I love it. This post is really over due... I first painted them about a week ago! I just redid them though.. they needed a bit of a touch-up.. esspecially my poor pitiful toe that has been through so much trama these past weeks! haha

So we headed down to NOLA to experience Old South..

This we did! Friday around lunch time we all packed up and headed to New Orleans. We had such an eventful ride down. We stopped for lunch in Jackson at PF Changs which was fabulous and then we continued on our way after a brief trip to the Apple store(just for fun). We traveled the rest of the way with the windows down and the music up! What a fabulous ride down minus the traffic...

Friday night we had dinner at Emeril's DelMonico. They had a lovely little piano player that kept us entertained but wouldn't play Dixie for us. Yes, we asked! The food was fantastic and the company was wonderful!! After dinner we proceeded to Bourbon Street. We spent the night dancing in the streets, sipping sweet drinks, and just having a ball! I am not usually a late nighter but this trip I was one of the last ones in. We saw the clock hit 4AM.. Be Proud of me!!

Saturday morning we strolled down to Jackson Square to get a bite to eat. We certainly could not have asked for a prettier day!! I just love the french quarter.. We didn't have much time though because the buses left for the plantation at 3:30!

Old South, KA's formal, is a popular thing here at Ole Miss. It unlike any other. The girls wear antebellum dresses complete with hoop skirts and the boys wear suits with tails. Its always at a plantation. Wednesday before we were invited to the KA house to receive our formal invitation and a rose, how cute?! It's name is very fitting, it's the old south. Anyhow this year it was at Houmas House which was absolutely beautiful. It had a beautiful fountain and patio area as well as a gorgeous front lawn. Needless to say we enjoyed ourselves here and danced the night away! But this fun isn't over yet.. of course we headed back to Bourbon when the buses returned to New Orleans. We had a great time yet again! Around 3 though everyone somehow scattered and only a few of us were to be found. I then decided to accompany Patrick and Martha Claire to Cafe Du Monde. I'm a bit of a scaredy cat so the walk was kind of sketch to me but it was all worth it!! We finished our night with a powdered sugar fight!! The car ride back today was long to say the least but so definitely worth it!! I had an absolute blast and would do it all again in the morning!! For now though I'm exhausted and ready for bed!

2010 Derby Day Champs.. Back to Back!!

Currently I am typing this post blindly. My face is about oh 6 inches from the computer screen. Forgive me if my words are a little more misspelled than usual. The reason for this is I was laying in bed reading all of my favorite blogs (I'm an addict) before drifting off to sleep as usual and I realized I needed to update my own. My contacts were already out and my glasses have been in Stark for a couple of weeks now.. so here I am blind! If you know me well you know I'm not kidding. On a side note I keep trying to talk myself into believing I have pink eye- ever since I heard a girl mention it in class the other day I am convinced even though my eye is clearly not pink! Gotta be the pollen...

In other news.. We WON Derby Day again!! This is our second year in a row not to mention like our 18th win in 30 years or something like that. Yea..its kind of a big deal here at the Delta Gamma House. We like to win and we do it fairly and simply because we try out of our own free will! Our theme for our dance was Braveheart which of course was a hit with all the guys. Check out our video on youtube here. .

Saturday after the dance competition and Derby Day winner announcement Sigma Chi had a luau at their house complete with pig roast and a slip-n-slide on their back deck. Wonderful idea for a Saturday afternoon. Somehow I made it out without being thrown in the water or EX sunburned into my face(see photo below). I'm just lucky I guess.. ;)
Friday night before the dance competition Sigma Chi had US (a fabulously crazy rock band) at their house party. It was a great night of dancing and screaming of lyrics at the top of our lungs! Thursday and Friday night KA Fight Night was also going on. This is their philanthropy fundraiser of the year and all kinds of guys have boxing matches. Not quite my cup of tea to see guys fight and even bring blood but the company and music made up for it! Good times!

This week is slow school wise for me which is much appreciated. I even got to run home for the afternoon to pick up my dress for Old South this weekend (YAY) and to visit with my family for a bit. Life however has been extremely crazy lately.. too much for the blog though.

This weekend is going to be a blast!! I can not wait!!

All dressed up like Brave Heart for Derby Day..

In front of the slip-n-slide at Sigma Chi..

Until later.. Love,

Happy Easter

Well I'm back to Ox after a weekend at home to celebrate the smiling holiday of Easter. Here's how my weekend went-

Thursday I traveled on down to Starkville to accompany one of my very best friends in the whole world to his date party! It was a nice treat because we never get to see each other much and just don't talk like we used to. Anyhow it was a whole lot of fun seeing Jack and all of his friends and getting a peak into Starkville life. We really do run things a little different here in Ox. Pictures to come from this even because I didn't take my camera and the one picture I did take on my phone is terrible. No worries I'll just borrow one from FB when someone puts some on.
Friday I also played catch up with a few friends from high school. Skyylar and I stay in constant touch but I haven't seen Angileah in ages so it was good to share a fantastic meal at Harveys with them! We had planned on seeing "The Last Song" after dinner but believe it or not it was sold out.. I was disappointed to say the least. So we settled for a dessert run instead. This totally made up for the movie! Turtle cheesecake was amazing.. I especially loved the chocolate cheesecake bottom layer which will not surprise you if you know me any at all. I have a slight obsession with chocolate!
Saturday was a lazy day spent mostly with my Nanny and Mama. These two ladies mean more to me than anyone or anything in the world so to say the least it was a great day!
Sunday/Easter. The Easter Bunny came to see me. Although I am 20 years old he still loves me.. but my gifts have changed a little over the years. This year in my basket along with all the candy (including a chocolate bunny) was a fabulous new swim suit! I can't wait to try it out... Anyhow I started my day by getting all dressed up in my Sunday best. Every year we always get new Easter dresses. I love this and have always loved this since I was a little girl.. something about that first REAL springtime dress of the season just says happiness!Off to church I went.. late as usual.. I tried so very hard to be early this Sunday but time is never on my side. Our church was packed! I haven't seen it this full in ages.. I haven't been to my home church regularly since I graduated high school almost 2 years ago. (2 YEARS!! Wow I just realized how long I've been out of high school.. a bit scary!) But anyhow, isn't it crazy how everyone comes on Easter?! I am so very thankful for Easter and all it means. What a wonderful God we have!! After church we had some family over to eat Easter lunch. I am so very thankful for a good home cooked meal these days and big family meals are always elaborate!! The afternoon ended with a nap and packing of all my things to return to school..
And here I am.. I am completely unpacked. I attempted to study for my genetics test on Thursday but failed, Im becoming a horrible procrastinator. This is going to be a crazy busy week because I have two tests and this fabulous thing we like to call DERBY DAY! DG won last year and we'll have to work hard to hold our title this year but I know we can do it! I'll explain more later because my eyes keep trying to shut tonight... but I'll leave you with a scene from out Derby Day victory last year!

Love,
